Workshops

Unfortunately due to work and family commitments I have been unable to arrange any workshops for some time.

I am hoping that this Autumn (2016) I will be able to recommence the individual and group one day workshops.

Waterfalls Workshop

I am now taking bookings for one to one Waterfalls Workshops for Autumn 2014 / Spring 2015. (I will accept couples or up to two friends)

The aim of this workshop is to introduce the techniques for making images of moving water that capture the movement and energy in waterfalls and the rivers between.
The waterfall workshops will be based at Bowlees in Upper Teesdale. The day starts at 9.30 at the Visitor Centre. The morning will be spent at Bow Lee Beck where there is a picturesque waterfall and Gibsons Cave with Summerhill Fall as well as many opportunities to explore the techniques used for moving water along Bow Lee Beck. Low Force is a short walk from here which presents further challenges for the photographer.

New Half Day Workshops

Hartlepool is the latest venue for half day workshops, concentrating on Composition, the use of filters and how to expose for moving water. The workshops will start with a short discussion to help get to know the manual settings on your camera, followed by about 3 hours of photography around the old Steetley Jetty.
Lots of opportunity here for photographs of the beach, the neighbouring sand dunes and the jetty itself.
The workshops are restricted to a maximum of 3 participants and cost only £45 per person.
Dates will be based on the tides, but will be mainly mid week, although there could be a limited number of week end dates too.

Use the contact form to express an interest and you will be contacted to discuss dates.
